PropUp is a Calgary-based software platform for Canadian real-estate professionals. We host the CRM, marketing, and communication tools our customers use every day. This page documents the technical and organisational measures we have in place — in plain language, with enough detail for engineers, brokers, and procurement teams to reason about.

What PropUp is, and what we do not do

PropUp is a software-as-a-service subscription. Our customers — licensed Alberta real-estate associates and brokers — pay us a monthly fee to use our CRM, MLS website builder, and communication tools. The scope of our operations is narrow by design:

We do not hold or transmit client trust funds.
We do not broker real-estate transactions.
We do not process escrow, deposits, or commissions.
We do not appear as a party on any real-estate contract.

Our customers remain fully responsible for their regulatory obligations under RECA, CREA, and the Alberta Real Estate Act. We provide the tooling; they operate their brokerage.

Philosophy

Security is a program, not a checklist. We publish the what and whyof our controls so you can evaluate them independently. Where a control is still maturing, we say so. We do not claim certifications we do not hold.
